In accordance with the Custodian Collective Bargaining Agreement Organizational Relationship or Line of
Authority:
Directly responsible to the Director of Facilities and his/her designee.
Statement of Duties:
Order, organize and maintain PAR (Periodic Automatic Replacement) levels of inventory for electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other related building supplies for the District. Make frequent and daily trips to purchase supplies from various suppliers as requested. Loading, transporting and delivering items (may include heavy equipment) to schools and departments in a safe and timely manner. Deliver and pickup outside maintenance equipment to supplies for maintenance and repair. Abides by all transportation laws maintaining a safe driving record. Assumes responsibility for any other duties as indicated by the Direct of Facilities, Superintendent of Schools or his/her designee, and policies of the Haverhill School Committee. Reports to work, during off hours as needed, for snow management (snow prep and removal to include the use of a snow blower) or other emergencies as determined by the Director of Facilities.
Qualifications:
Must have and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must have a clean driving record. High School Diploma is required. Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Ability to lift, carry or drive heavy items for extended periods of time. Must be proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel for basic computer use. Must have strong organizational skills. Such alternatives to the aforementioned qualifications as deemed appropriate by the Superintendent of Schools.
