Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Associate Manager, where your leadership and customer service skills will drive store success and create memorable shopping experiences. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily store operations, manage a talented team, and ensure that sales goals are met through effective management, merchandising, and exceptional customer engagement. Responsibilities Lead and supervise retail staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to excel in their roles. Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and coordinating purchasing to ensure product availability. Drive sales through effective merchandising, promotional activities, and personalized customer service strategies. Implement pricing strategies and oversee store presentation to maximize sales potential while maintaining brand standards. Handle employee orientation, performance evaluations, and coaching to foster a motivated and high-performing team. Coordinate shift scheduling, payroll processing, and administrative tasks such as bookkeeping to ensure smooth operational flow. Utilize strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, resolve customer issues promptly, and support marketing initiatives. Enforce store policies related to safety, security, cash handling, and compliance with company standards. Support budgeting efforts by tracking sales data and managing expenses to meet financial targets. Experience Proven management experience in retail or a related environment with a focus on supervising teams and managing daily operations. Strong background in retail sales techniques, inventory management, merchandising, and POS systems. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in training & development of staff members. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is preferred for diverse customer interactions. Knowledge of retail math for sales analysis, pricing strategies, and budgeting is essential. Experience with recruiting new employees through interviewing processes; familiarity with employee orientation programs is a plus. Previous experience in cashiering, cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping or administrative tasks is highly valued. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently using excellent organizational skills and time management techniques.
