As the Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, maintain compliance with all state regulations and company policies, and help create a welcoming, knowledgeable, and efficient environment for both customers and employees. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing daily store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, feedback, and performance management. Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and employee development initiatives. Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures. Monitor inventory accuracy, product merchandising, and stock levels. Assist with cash handling, deposits, and daily financial reconciliations. Resolve customer concerns professionally while promoting a positive shopping experience. Help achieve sales goals and key performance metrics through effective leadership and team engagement. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe retail environment. Act as Manager on Duty in the Store Manager's absence. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of retail leadership or management experience, preferably in cannabis, retail, hospitality, or a highly regulated industry. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop employees. Experience with inventory management and cash handling. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require. Must meet all state requirements for employment in a licensed cannabis dispensary.
