Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth across our retail operations. In this role, you will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing daily store activities, and fostering a customer-centric environment. Your leadership will inspire your team to exceed sales targets while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for retail sales. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and surpass sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management Develop strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives, including pricing strategies and promotional campaigns Oversee daily store operations such as inventory management, merchandising, stocking, and POS (Point of Sale) system utilization Manage employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a high-performing team Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining a welcoming store environment Supervise shift management, cash handling, cashiering, and payroll processing to ensure smooth store functioning Conduct regular staff training on product knowledge, sales techniques, merchandising standards, and safety procedures Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising experience in a fast-paced environment Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases Knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, pricing strategies, and retail math principles Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and store management software Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills and time management capabilities Leadership qualities demonstrated through team management experience and the ability to motivate staff toward shared goals Previous experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous Join us to lead a passionate team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences while advancing your career in retail management. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
