Liquor industry knowledge is a plus. this combo role will also be a Sales Associate at times. At Stafford Beverage, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our diverse selection of liquor products. This role is vital in ensuring a welcoming shopping environment and driving sales in our innovative store. Responsibilities Assist customers with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Manage stock levels and ensure shelves are well-organized and fully stocked. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately. Demonstrate products through tastings or promotions to enhance customer experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and storage areas. Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store operations. Support supervisory staff in training new employees as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated. Experience with product demonstrations or promotions is a plus. Supervising experience is beneficial but not required.
