Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties:

Leadership:

Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, and fostering a positive work environment. Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability

Team Management:

Assist in training, coaching, and developing team members to achieve their potential and meet store performance goals.

Scheduling:

Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to labor budgets.

Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as needed, and conducting regular stock counts.

Customer Service:

Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving issues, and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all products meet Scooters Coffee's high standards for quality and consistency. Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales.

Operational Excellence:

Assist in managing cash handling, opening/closing duties, and compliance with all health, safety, and operational guidelines.

Speed of Service:

Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in scheduling software and inventory management is a plus. Passion for coffee and delivering excellent customer experiences.
