FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Job Overview We are now hiring for our newest location in Pleasant View TN. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring that customer service standards are met, and managing staff effectively. The Floor Supervisor will play a crucial role in driving sales and maintaining inventory control while ensuring the store operates smoothly. Duties Supervise daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Manage and train staff, providing employee orientation and ongoing development opportunities. Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and merchandising. Handle payroll and bookkeeping tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct interviews and assist in recruiting new team members. Implement effective customer service strategies to enhance the shopping experience. Utilize POS systems for transactions and cash handling duties. Monitor retail sales performance and provide insights for improvement. Maintain effective communication with team members regarding promotions, pricing changes, and store policies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Experience Candidates should possess a background that includes: Supervising experience in a retail environment with a focus on team management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Experience in retail management, including knowledge of retail math and inventory control. Proficiency in customer service practices with an emphasis on enhancing customer satisfaction. Familiarity with budgeting, purchasing, and marketing strategies within a retail context. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers.
