An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Job Description
Manage shifts which include:
daily decision making, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality. Ensure positive guest service in all areas. Respond to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return customers. Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality. Education and/or Experience 2-4 years of previous restaurant manager experience 2-4 years high volume bar/restaurant experience Requirements and Skills Liquor License certification is mandatory Food manager certificate required Ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish Availability to work during holidays, nights, and weekends with increased hours during peak times. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
