An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Job Description
- Meet all performance and behavior expectations outlined in the company performance appraisal form or communicated by management
- Perform responsibilities as directed achieving desired results within expected time frames and with a high degree of quality and professionalism.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive work relationships with all staff, customers and business partners.
- Demonstrate the behavioral and technical competencies necessary to effectively complete job responsibilities. Take personal initiative for technical and professional development.
- Follow the company HR Policy, the Code of Business Conduct and all subsidiary and department policies and procedures, including protecting confidential company information, attending work punctually and regularly, and following good safety practices in all activities.
Qualifications Education:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field; or equivalent knowledge and work experience.
Experience:
- Two plus years of real estate experience, including supervisory/management experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in handling real estate transactions; knowledge of legal obligations of Realtors under state and federal laws, Department of Commerce Rules & Regulations, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics.
- Strong computer experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Effective analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Detail oriented.
- Project management skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently under deadline pressure.
- Effective interpersonal skills and leadership abilities. High degree of integrity. Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.):
- Licensed Realtor with the goal of achieving a broker's license; continuing education credits in real estate and management.
Wage:
$50,000.00 - $70,000.00 annually; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.Benefits:
