May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Responsibilities:
The Assistant Service Manager assists the Service Manager in directing the activities of all service related staff ensuring exceptional customer service and the attainment of performance targets. This individual is a strong leader who assists in the hiring, training and development of all Service Department personnel to build a winning team. The Assistant Service Manager serves as the liaison between the store and Support Services Fixed Operations, ensuring compliance to all company policies and procedures. Train, develop & mentor Service Advisors & technical staff Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns. Inspect repair orders daily for legibility, accuracy and legality. Ensure that all manufacturer policies and procedures are followed. Manage the administration, tracking and follow-up required to stay current on warranty, receivables and service contracts.
Qualifications:
Previous Automotive Dealership Service department experience Excellent Teaching, Presentation, Time Management skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles & computer use Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence Total Rewards 70,000-180,000 annually commission plan. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
