Lenovo, Brand Ambassador (STAR) Weekends Required As a Full-time Brand Ambassador for Lenovo, you are the face of the Lenovo brand in retail environments, primarily working within Best Buy (80%), Costco (15%), and Micro Center (5%) locations. This position drives sales, delivers product training, ensures in-store merchandising excellence, and creates positive customer interactions that elevate Lenovo's presence. Branded apparel provided for in-store work. ---Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Engagement:
- Deliver a personalized shopping experience that drives Lenovo product sales across Best Buy, Costco, and Micro Center locations.
- Proactively engage customers, answer questions, and provide expert recommendations.
- Support revenue growth and promote Lenovo's premium products in alignment with market goals.
- Operate the POS system at Best Buy to process Lenovo credit card sales.
- Demonstrate consistent POS transaction performance in key retail locations.
Training and Education:
- Regularly engage and educate in-store retail sales associates (RSAs) to strengthen their knowledge of Lenovo products.
- Ensure that retail associates are well-equipped to highlight Lenovo's features, benefits, and differentiators effectively.
In-store Merchandising:
- Maintain pristine in-store displays that reflect Lenovo standards.
- Partner with store teams to ensure merchandising accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure a strong in-store presence by meeting expected scheduling and visiting completion benchmarks.
- Maintain good standing and consistently represent the Lenovo brand professionally.
Brand Advocacy:
- Represent Lenovo with enthusiasm, professionalism, and authenticity.
- Build strong relationships with customers and store personnel to foster brand loyalty.
Administrative Duties:
- Adhere to your assigned monthly schedule with punctuality and reliability.
- Submit accurate expense reports on time.
- Log service orders in alignment with reporting expectations.
- Complete ad hoc requests from the client within 48 business hours.
Reporting and Communication:
- Submit daily reports that document store visits, include photos, and capture key observations.
- Maintain consistent communication with your Regional Manager and Lenovo stakeholders, sharing opportunities and insights.
Performance Metrics:
Operations:
Timely service order submission, adherence to in-store hour expectations, on-time visit completions (especially in key accounts like Costco), and overall compliance with scheduling and conduct guidelines.Sales:
Drive year-over-year sales growth within your market and support the performance of Lenovo's premium product lines.Sales Support:
Meet consistent monthly POS transaction goals and ensure Lenovo sales are accurately credited.Training:
Activate and train a set number of retail sales associates each month to champion Lenovo's offerings.Booster:
Earn additional incentives for contributing to priority projects, special initiatives, or delivering exceptional execution.Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredExperience:
- 6+ months of experience in sales, electronics, retail, or marketing preferred
- Familiarity with PC and gaming products is a plus
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident in engaging customers and driving sales
- Ability to quickly learn and demonstrate Lenovo technology
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
- Fine motor skills for device handling and product setup (reasonable accommodations available)
Other Requirements:
- Reliable transportation and availability to travel between store locations
- Willingness to work weekends and peak retail periods
- Smartphone for daily reporting and communications
