May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Job Description
Responsibilities Store Operations:
Support daily store operations, opening/closing procedures, cleanliness, inventory organization, and product merchandising. Ensure shelves, coolers, and displays are stocked and maintained. Provide excellent customer service and professionally address customer concerns. Operate the POS system and ensure accurate cash handling. Assist with inventory, ordering, pricing, promotions, and waste reduction. Identify and communicate operational issues and opportunities to the Store Manager.Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, coach, and support employees during assigned shifts. Effectively delegate tasks to the team and maintain standards for customer service, productivity, and teamwork. Assist Store Manager with hiring, scheduling, onboarding, and employee development. Address performance or attendance concerns and communicate them to the Store Manager. Lead by example and work alongside employees as needed.Safety and Facility Management:
Ensure compliance with food safety, OSHA, and company standards. Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store. Monitor equipment, refrigeration, and facility conditions and report maintenance needs. Follow cash-control, security, and loss-prevention procedures. Properly document and report customer or employee incidents.Management Support:
Monitor sales, labor, inventory, and expenses and communicate significant issues or trends to the Store Manager. Support local marketing, promotions, and community initiatives. Act as manager on duty when the Store Manager is absent or unavailable. Skills and Qualifications Supervisory or leadership experience in a convenience store, grocery, or small-format retail store. High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Retail Management, or related field preferred. Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to supervise employees and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of inventory, cash handling, sales, and store operations. POS and basic computer skills; Excel and Outlook experience preferred. Dependable, professional, and able to work independently. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings as needed. Food Safety Certification, preferred. Valid driver's license.Pay:
$55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per yearBenefits:
