The Karr Group—Killington's largest hospitality management company—is seeking a driven and energetic Nightclub Supervisor to join the team at the iconic Pickle Barrel Nightclub, the house that rocks Killington. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with leadership experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and enjoys being at the center of the action. As a Nightclub Supervisor, you'll be a key leader on the floor, supporting staff, assisting management, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, and helping deliver an exceptional guest experience from open to close. This seasonal, late-night position offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in the hospitality and nightlife industry. What You'll Do Supervise and support security, barbacks, and service staff throughout the night Oversee guest flow, crowd control, and line management Ensure staff follow Vermont liquor laws, responsible alcohol service practices, and venue policies Respond professionally and effectively to guest concerns, conflicts, and incidents Communicate with the Manager on Duty regarding staffing, operational, and safety concerns Monitor the venue to maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment Assist with opening and closing procedures and other operational duties as needed Lead by example and promote a positive, professional, and guest-focused team environment
What We're Looking For:
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred, particularly in nightlife, hospitality, or events Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to confidently direct, support, and motivate staff during busy service periods Calm and professional under pressure with strong conflict-resolution and de-escalation skills Knowledge of responsible alcohol service, guest safety, and crowd management Strong judgment and the ability to make quick, appropriate decisions Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a high-energy environment Must be 21+ Must be available to work late nights, weekends, and holidays
