8am - 5pm
Pay Rate:
$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Clerk to join our team. This role is responsible for assisting with order processing, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely communication with customers. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and math skills, is comfortable working with data and computer systems, and can effectively coordinate between the sales office and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
Process incoming and outgoing customer orders using internal software systems Track and monitor order status to ensure on-time delivery Maintain accurate records and files for shipments, pricing, and customer orders Prepare and update reports, schedules, and documentation related to orders and inventory Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding order status, updates, and inquiries Expedite orders as needed to meet customer deadlines Coordinate with warehouse staff and periodically check order status and product availability on the floor Operate standard office equipment including computers, calculators, and photocopiers Assist with general administrative and clerical tasks as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in order processing, customer service, or manufacturing environment preferred Strong math skills with the ability to calculate quantities, pricing, and order details accurately Proficiency in computer systems and data entry (ERP systems experience is a plus) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Comfortable working between office and warehouse settings as needed
