JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Assistant supports the Sales Manager in maintaining existing client accounts, processing orders. This role is responsible for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring efficient handling of sales-related communications and documentation. Maintain positive relationships with customers and sales representatives, handling inquiries with professionalism and tact. Build and maintain up-to-date client portfolios and client sites as requested in company ERP systems and folders. Gather and organize site documents for Sales review and project management. Complete requests regarding price quotations, purchase orders, order changes, and cancellations from Sales Manager. Follow up on customer inquiries, including delivery status and pending orders, proposals. Maintain Sales reporting for end-of-day reports to Operations Manager and Management Team. This will also include weekly reporting to clients on project status. Maintain weekly/biweekly schedule for house account, design review for Sales Manager. Additional Responsibilities Complete company orientation and safety training Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Accurate data entry/typing, math and cognitive problem-solving skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. Personable and customer-focused Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Comfortable handling routine tasks that require sound judgment and problem-solving. Education & Experience Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales support, customer service, or related role. Equivalent business experience may substitute for formal education requirements. Experience in the sign industry is a plus Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and customer interaction skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus Technical Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Experience with CRM and job costing systems is a plus Core Competencies Strong written and verbal communication Excellent organization and time management Analytical thinking and problem-solving Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively Team collaboration and leadership influence Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily office-based with occasional site visits Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer Ability to walk job sites, use stairs, and perform light physical activity as needed Ability to work under deadlines in a team-oriented environment
