Job Description
Engineer technician

At Novalynx, we are a local company that designs, assembles, and resells precision weather instruments. As a family-owned business stepping into the next generation, we are looking to expand our team for the long run. Responsibilities
- Learn our products and systems, including weather logging equipment, various types of weather sensors, rain gauges, evaporation gauges, and weather systems
- Support technical sales (quotes, product recommendations)
- Troubleshoot electronics systems and customer issues
- Written and verbal communications with customers
- Test, configure, and calibrate instruments
- Create wiring diagrams, assembly drawing, and system layout
- Update technical documentation and manuals
- Collaborate with sales, production, and shipping as needed Qualifications
- Background in electronics, engineering technology, or related field
- Associates degree or higher, trade school, military electronics training, or equivalent experience
- Ability to read/create technical drawings and schmatics
- Experience with calibration and lab/shop environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, especially Excel
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
