Duties Engage with prospective clients to understand their power backup and energy needs, providing expert guidance on Generac Generator solutions. Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations and technical presentations to showcase features, benefits, and installation options. Develop customized proposals by integrating technical specifications with client requirements, emphasizing solution sales principles. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through deal closing, ensuring a seamless customer experience. Collaborate cross-functionally with project management, customer support, and engineering teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction. Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud to track leads, update client information, and analyze sales data for strategic planning. Support pre-sales activities by providing technical insights on enterprise software integrations like AWS, Azure, VMware, Linux, Python scripting, Bash (Unix shell), and network configurations. Experience Proven technical sales experience within a corporate or enterprise software environment, ideally involving energy or power solutions. Strong understanding of computer networking concepts, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), virtualization technologies (VMware), and Linux operating systems. Demonstrated success in business development within technology sectors through solution-oriented selling approaches. Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce Cloud for managing client relationships and sales pipelines effectively. Skilled in product demos, technical presentations, and solution design tailored to client needs in a fast-paced sales environment. Experience working with cross-functional teams on complex projects involving deal closing and project management strategies. Excellent analysis skills combined with clear client communication to translate technical details into compelling value propositions.
