Job Description:
The Sr. Associate, Sales Specialist will play an integral role within the Tactical Communications team, responsible for delivering mission critical tactical radio solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD). Sales Specialists directly support the Sales and Business Development (BD) organization by assisting with the development of technical requirements for small to mid-sized pursuits and providing formal responses to U.S. Government Requests for Quotation (RFQs). The successful candidate will effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to manage opportunities through the pre-sale process to rochesooking. Contributions in this role are crucial to meeting AOP objectives and delivering essential equipment to the warfighter.
Essential Functions:
  • Collaborate directly with customers to tailor communications solutions to their unique requirements.
  • Assist prime contractors with U.S. Government RFQ/RFP responses for Tactical equipment.
  • Review technical configurations for accuracy and recommend alternative products when necessary.
  • Coordinate material asset requisitions for field teams.
  • Provide technical guidance to end-users and system integrators.
  • Organize and initiate product demonstrations.
  • Maintain product forecast accuracy to effectively drive factory demand.
  • Support Program Managers in the delivery of major program initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor"s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience in a sales or customer-facing role. U.S. Military experience. Knowledge of L3Harris Tactical products and/or RF communications. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of tools.
