The ideal candidate brings an existing book of business and a proven track record of successfully brokering freight to carriers. This role is best suited for a self-starter who thrives in an independent work environment and is driven to grow and maintain strong client relationships.. Responsibilities Manage and grow an existing book of business Source, negotiate, and secure freight with reliable carriers Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers and carriers Track shipments and ensure timely delivery while resolving any issues Negotiate rates and maximize profitability on each load Maintain accurate records and documentation for all transactions Other duties as needed Skills Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar logistics role Existing book of business required Strong network of carrier relationships Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Familiarity with load boards Excellent negotiation skills combined with the ability to handle complex contracts effectively. Capable of managing data entry accurately while dispatching activities for seamless freight movement.
