18+ About the Position We are a used car dealership looking for a reliable, motivated, and organized individual who enjoys cars to join our team as a Part-Time Automotive Lot Assistant . This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities. You'll help keep our inventory organized, prepare vehicles for sale, take vehicles to mechanics and other vendors, and help advertise our inventory online. This position is also a great opportunity for someone who is interested in learning more about the automotive industry and vehicle sales . Sales is not the primary responsibility, but if you're interested in learning, we will give you the opportunity to develop your sales skills, communicate with customers, and potentially sell vehicles. Responsibilities Drive dealership vehicles to and from mechanics, detailers, and other vendors Move and organize vehicles around the lot Help prepare vehicles for sale Help keep the lot clean, organized, and presentable Take high-quality photos and videos of vehicles Post vehicles on Facebook, Instagram, and other social-media platforms Post and update vehicle listings on our marketing and automotive websites Help keep online vehicle listings accurate and up to date Occasionally respond to customer leads through phone, text, or online platforms Communicate with potential customers and assist with basic questions Help coordinate vehicles that need repairs, detailing, or other services Learn about the vehicle sales process and dealership operations Have the opportunity to sell vehicles and earn $100 commission for each vehicle you personally sell Assist with other dealership tasks as needed The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Reliable, punctual, and responsible Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable driving different vehicles Interested in cars and the automotive industry Comfortable working outdoors and performing hands-on tasks Good with smartphones, social media, and taking photos/videos Friendly and professional when communicating with customers Able to work independently and take initiative Willing to learn new skills Interested in learning about automotive sales Honest and trustworthy when handling dealership vehicles Automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but it is not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude, is dependable, and is eager to learn. Requirements Must be 18 years or older Valid driver's license At least 2 years of driving experience Clean driving record Comfortable driving dealership vehicles Reliable transportation to and from work Available to work approximately 25-30 hours per week Pay & Commission $17.5-$19.5 per hour + $100 commission for every vehicle you personally sell. Sales is not the primary responsibility of this position. However, if you're interested in learning sales, you'll have the opportunity to learn how to communicate with customers, respond to leads, understand the sales process, and eventually sell vehicles. The $100 commission provides an opportunity to earn additional income while gaining real-world experience in automotive sales. Why Join Us?
