Job Description

Job Summary The Southwest AOR supports and empowers real estate professionals through education, advocacy, and community leadership. Our facilities rents event space, host meetings, classes, and events and operate a real estate store serving members across the region. Full-Time | Base Salary + Commission Commission & Performance Incentives 5%-12% tier: Additional earning opportunities based on business development results and established performance goals. 100% Employer-Paid Health, Dental & Life Insurance | 401(k) with 5% Match | Vehicle & Cell Phone Allowances The Opportunity SRCAR® is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Business Development & Strategic Partnerships Manager to expand business relationships, grow Strategic Partnership and sponsorship revenue, strengthen relationships with local real estate brokerages, and support REALTOR® and Affiliate membership growth. This is a business development and sales position for someone who enjoys being in the community, opening doors, developing relationships, presenting value, asking for the business, and closing opportunities. Experience in membership development, sponsorship sales, or business development with a Chamber of Commerce, trade association, REALTOR® association, membership organization, or similar B2B environment is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will represent SRCAR® throughout Riverside County and play an important role in expanding the association's business and community relationships. What You'll Do Prospect, develop, and secure new Strategic Real Estate Service Partners and event sponsors. Sell annual Strategic Partnership packages and individual sponsorship opportunities. Develop relationships with businesses that serve
REALTORS
®, real estate brokerages, homeowners, and the broader real estate industry. Recruit new Affiliate members and identify opportunities to develop deeper business relationships. Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate brokers, brokerage leadership, office managers, teams, and agents. Conduct regular outreach and in-person visits to current brokerage offices to promote SRCAR® events, programs, resources, and member benefits. Serve as a visible and consistent SRCAR® presence throughout the local brokerage and business community. Present SRCAR®'s member value proposition to brokerage owners, managers, teams, and agents. Develop targeted brokerage outreach strategies that strengthen SRCAR®'s relationships with brokers, office managers, teams, and agents and support membership growth. Identify and develop opportunities to expand SRCAR®'s presence and membership within local real estate brokerages. Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual presentations with brokerages, prospective partners, sponsors, and businesses. Attend Chamber, brokerage, community, association, networking, and SRCAR® events to develop relationships and generate business opportunities. Develop proposals and manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting through closing. Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurately track prospects, meetings, proposals, follow-up activities, and closed business. Work closely with the Education and Events department and SRCAR® leadership to identify new partnership, sponsorship, and business development opportunities. Support Strategic Partner relationships and renewals and identify opportunities to expand existing relationships. Provide regular business development, partnership, membership, and pipeline reports to SRCAR® leadership.
Who We're Looking For:
We're looking for a proven relationship salesperson and business developer , not simply someone who processes memberships.
Strong candidates may come from:
Chamber of Commerce Business Development | Membership Sales | Sponsorship Sales | Partnership Development | Association Business Development | Community Partnerships | B2B Sales. The ideal candidate is comfortable walking into a brokerage or business, meeting with an owner, broker, manager, or executive, understanding their goals, communicating SRCAR®'s value, developing the relationship, asking for the business, and following through. This position requires someone who is equally comfortable developing new relationships and nurturing existing ones . Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of successful B2B sales, business development, membership development, sponsorship sales, or partnership development experience Chamber of Commerce or membership association experience strongly preferred Demonstrated success developing new business and meeting revenue goals Experience selling sponsorships, partnerships, memberships, advertising, or other relationship-based products or services Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, relationship-development, and closing skills Ability to independently develop and manage a sales pipeline Excellent follow-up, organizational, and time-management skills Comfortable spending significant time in the field visiting brokerages, businesses, community organizations, and events Experience using CRM or other sales pipeline management tools Knowledge of Riverside County and the surrounding business community is highly desirable Existing relationships within the local business, Chamber, real estate, lending, title, escrow, insurance, builder, home-services, or related industries are a plus Real estate experience is helpful but not required. We can teach the REALTOR® association business. We're looking for someone who already knows how to develop relationships, communicate value, generate revenue, and close business.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

This role requires some evening and weekend events (mixers, galas, ribbon cuttings). Can you accommodate that? How comfortable are you with proactive outreach (cold calls, walk-ins, cold email) as a regular part of the job?
