HOURS Evenings and weekends required. The schedule follows peak store traffic, not standard business hours.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Better Bath is a licensed remodeling contractor specializing in bathrooms and kitchens, and we're the certified installer inside the showrooms of a national home-design retailer. Shoppers come in to pick out tile, vanities, cabinets and countertops, and many of them need someone to install it. That's where you come in. You'll work the showroom floor, start conversations with shoppers who are planning a bathroom or kitchen project, and book them for a free in-home measure and estimate. You won't price jobs, measure, or collect payments. Your job is to find real projects and get them on the calendar. About 70% of your hours will be at our Murrieta location and about 30% in Norco.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Engage shoppers in the bath, tile, cabinet and countertop areas and find out what they're working on
• Qualify each project: bath or kitchen, homeowner, timing, and who's part of the decision
• Offer the free in-home measure and estimate, and book a day and time on the spot
• Help customers understand why picking their materials before the visit gets them an exact price instead of a ballpark
• Enter every lead the same day in our lead management system
• Build good working relationships with store associates and managers
• Represent the program professionally and follow our retail partner's in-store guidelines

WHAT YOU NEED

• Working knowledge of the residential remodeling process, from material selection through demo and install
• Material and application knowledge for tiled showers: tile types and formats (porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, mosaic, large-format), how pans, waterproofing, niches and curbs come together, and why those choices change the labor
• Comfortable approaching strangers: outgoing and persistent without being pushy
• Available evenings and weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays
• Professional appearance, with polo or button-down and closed-toe shoes
• Comfortable entering customer information on a phone or tablet
• Reliable transportation to both Norco and Murrieta

NICE TO HAVE

• Retail, tile showroom or home-improvement sales experience
• Cabinet and countertop knowledge
• Bilingual English/Spanish

SCHEDULE

We schedule around the store's busiest hours, when project shoppers are on the floor:

• Monday

• Friday:

  4:00 pm
• 7:00 pm

• Saturday:

  9:00 am
• 6:00 pm

• Sunday:

  11:00 am
• 3:00 pm Shifts run 5-6 hours and are built around these windows, so expect weekday shifts that run into the evening and regular weekend shifts.
