This is not an order-taking position. We are looking for someone who is hungry to win, comfortable prospecting for new business, persistent in developing new accounts, and motivated by uncapped earning potential. Our company sells pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to wholesale distributors and clinics specializing in clinical trials. You will be responsible for developing your own customer base, building long-term relationships, and turning those relationships into repeat business. What You'll Do You will take ownership of your territory and customer base from prospecting through ongoing account management.
Your responsibilities will include:
Prospecting and developing new B2B accounts Identifying purchasing decision-makers and developing relationships with them Selling pharmaceuticals and medical supplies to wholesale distributors and clinical-trial-focused clinics Learning customers' purchasing patterns, product needs, and supply challenges Following up consistently on quotes, opportunities, and potential orders Growing existing accounts through repeat business and additional product opportunities Maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers Managing your sales pipeline and staying organized with follow-ups Working closely with our purchasing and operations teams to identify opportunities and fulfill customer needs As you establish a strong customer base, the position becomes increasingly relationship-driven, with more of your time focused on managing, retaining, and expanding the accounts you have developed. Who We're Looking For We want someone with B2B inside sales experience who understands that building a successful book of business takes consistent effort.
The right person is:
Competitive and highly self-motivated Comfortable proactively pursuing new business Persistent without being discouraged by rejection Naturally good at building business relationships An excellent communicator on the phone and through email Organized and disciplined with follow-up Able to identify opportunities and move quickly Motivated by financial success Interested in building something over the long term rather than simply collecting a paycheck Able to work independently while also contributing to a team Experience selling pharmaceuticals, medical supplies, healthcare products, or other B2B products is valuable, but industry experience is not required if you have demonstrated B2B sales ability and are willing to learn. Compensation This position is intentionally commission-heavy with a smaller base salary. We want our salespeople to have meaningful upside when they perform. Your earning potential will be driven largely by your ability to develop accounts, generate profitable sales, and grow your book of business. High performers will have the opportunity to earn substantially more than they would in a traditional salary-heavy sales position. What Success Looks Like In the beginning, success means activity, persistence, and account development. You should expect to spend significant time prospecting, contacting potential customers, and creating new relationships. Over time, the goal is to build a valuable book of repeat customers. We want our salespeople developing relationships that produce repeat orders, referrals, larger opportunities, and long-term revenue. As your customer base grows, your role will increasingly shift from pure prospecting toward managing and expanding the relationships you've created. This Position Is a Great Fit If... You are the type of salesperson who looks at a commission plan and thinks about the upside rather than the guarantee. You enjoy competing. You like developing relationships but aren't afraid to pursue new business. You want your income to increase as your skills, customer base, and sales increase. And most importantly, you want an opportunity where exceptional performance is rewarded. If you're talented, hungry, persistent, and ready to build a serious book of business in the pharmaceutical and medical supply industry, we want to hear from you. Apply with your resume and a brief explanation of why you believe you would excel in a high-performance B2B sales environment.
