Job Description

Job Overview Roberts Ferry Gourmet is looking for a highly organized, proactive Customer Sales & Operations Coordinator to help keep our orders, customers, and production flowing smoothly. This role is the hub between customer communication, order processing, and production coordination. You'll work behind the scenes to ensure every order is accurate, every customer is taken care of, and our operations stay on track. We create handmade, small-batch Gourmet Goodies that are truly Awesomely Delicious, and this role plays a key part in delivering that experience. What You'll Do Customer Communication
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Support wholesale, online, and phone order customers
  • Confirm orders and provide clear, timely communication
  • Resolve issues with a solutions-focused approach Order Management
  • Enter and process all customer orders (retail ship-to, wholesale, online)
  • Track orders from start to finish
  • Ensure accuracy in pricing, quantities, and shipping details
  • Follow up on incomplete or pending orders Production Coordination
  • Prepare and print production orders
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to keep orders moving
  • Communicate priorities and timing clearly Inventory, Product Flow & Documentation
  • Monitor product availability
  • Help coordinate incoming inventory and product movement
  • Communicate with various team leads to prevent delays
  • Print and manage product and production labels
  • Ensure materials are accurate and ready ahead of time
  • Maintain organized records and documentation Administrative & Reporting Support
  • Assist with reporting, tracking, and internal systems
  • Maintain accurate data in company systems
  • Support general office needs as they arise
  • Serve as an executive assistant, supporting daily priorities and tasks Retail Store Support
  • Act as a communication link between store staff and management when needed What We're Looking ForMust-Haves
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working with systems and data Experience & Skills Required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Comfortable using computers and web-based systems in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate new software platforms
  • Accurate data entry and attention to detail This role requires strong computer proficiency; you should be comfortable navigating multiple systems, managing email communication, and working efficiently in Excel. Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with order entry, inventory systems, or ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (such as HubSpot)
  • Experience working in a product-based or manufacturing environment
