The Opportunity This is a field-based sales role focused primarily on New Haven County . We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running: building new referral relationships, strengthening existing ones, and turning those relationships into new client admissions and revenue growth . Existing relationships or prior sales experience in New Haven County are strongly preferred. You'll spend approximately 80-90% of your time in the field , developing relationships with: Hospitals and discharge planners Skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities Assisted living and memory care communities Social workers and care managers Elder law attorneys Physicians and healthcare professionals Senior centers and community organizations What You'll Do Develop new and strengthen existing referral relationships throughout New Haven County. Consistently prospect and conduct face-to-face visits with referral partners. Drive measurable new referrals, client admissions, and revenue growth . Respond quickly to new referral opportunities. Perform in-home assessments and execute client start agreements. Represent Pansy Homecare at community events, networking opportunities, and educational programs. Maintain consistent follow-up with referral partners. Track sales activity, pipeline, follow-ups, and results in our CRM. Collaborate closely with our Director of Sales and leadership team on territory strategy and performance. Who We're Looking For This is not an entry-level sales position. We are looking for someone who already knows how to sell, build a territory, and produce measurable results.
Ideal candidates will have:
4+ years of outside sales or business development experience. Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas. Strong field-sales/hunter mentality—you are comfortable getting out, prospecting, hearing "no," following up, and creating opportunities. Healthcare, home care, home health, hospice, senior living, medical, or other referral-based sales experience strongly preferred. Experience selling or developing professional relationships in New Haven County strongly preferred. Existing relationships with healthcare facilities, case managers, social workers, physicians, senior living communities, or other New Haven County referral sources are a major plus. Strong relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills. Comfortable being held accountable to measurable weekly sales activity and results. CRM proficiency and disciplined documentation/follow-up habits. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability and willingness to travel throughout New Haven County approximately 80-90% of the time. Why Join Pansy Homecare?
