AMERX Health Care company is an Oldsmar based, family run medical device, drug, and cosmetic company who manufactures, markets, and distributes wound and skin care products. Our quality products are sold through private practices, retail, hospital, pharmacy, DME, and online retailers. Overview The Sales Support Specialist provides day-to-day administrative, operational, and communication support to the Vice President of Sales and the company's outside sales representatives. This position plays an important role in keeping the sales team organized, responsive, and informed by coordinating sales activities, maintaining customer and sales information, preparing reports, and assisting with follow-up on opportunities and customer needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with sales data and reports, communicates professionally, and enjoys supporting a fast-moving sales team. This is a hands-on support position requiring initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.Key Responsibilities:
Sales Team Support Provide administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Sales and outside sales representatives. Serve as a central point of communication between outside sales representatives and the corporate office. Assist sales representatives with customer inquiries, product information, documentation, pricing information, and internal requests. Track sales opportunities, customer follow-ups, and outstanding action items. Help ensure sales representatives receive timely information needed to manage their territories and customer relationships. Coordinate communication between Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Billing, and other internal departments. Sales Reporting & Data Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports. Assist the VP of Sales with tracking individual representative and territory performance. Maintain accurate customer, prospect, territory, and sales information in company systems. Track sales activity, new accounts, customer trends, and other key sales metrics. Assist with spreadsheets, presentations, sales meeting materials, and management reports. Identify missing or incomplete sales information and follow up with appropriate team members. Customer & Account Support Assist with onboarding new customers and accounts. Coordinate customer documentation and internal paperwork. Respond to routine customer requests and direct more complex issues to the appropriate team member. Assist sales representatives with order-related questions and customer follow-up. Maintain professional communication with customers, referral sources, healthcare providers, and other business partners. Sales Administration Maintain organized electronic sales files and records. Assist with preparation of sales presentations, proposals, correspondence, and marketing materials. Coordinate sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions, and other sales activities. Prepare agendas, reports, and supporting materials for sales meetings. Track follow-up items resulting from sales meetings. Assist with trade shows, conferences, customer events, and sales initiatives as needed. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service, account coordination, or a related administrative role. Experience supporting a sales team strongly preferred. Medical products, medical device, DME, healthcare, or other regulated-industry experience preferred. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience working with CRM, ERP, or sales-management systems preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and follow-through skills. Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Professional and comfortable communicating with sales representatives, customers, and company leadership.
