Automotive BDC Manager

Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Automotive BDC (Business Development Center) Manager to lead our dealership's customer engagement and sales support operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the management of our sales pipeline, coordinate outbound and inbound customer communications, and drive high-end passenger car sales through exceptional customer relationship building. Your leadership will ensure our team delivers outstanding customer service, maximizes deal closing opportunities, and achieves aggressive sales targets. Responsibilities Lead and manage the automotive BDC team to ensure efficient handling of all customer inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels Develop and implement strategic outbound sales campaigns to generate new leads and expand the dealership's customer base Build strong customer relationships through personalized communication, upselling high-end vehicles, and promoting automotive financing options Oversee the management of the sales pipeline using CRM software to track prospects, follow-ups, and deal progressions Coordinate with the sales team to support deal closing efforts by qualifying leads and providing detailed client communication Conduct regular training on phone etiquette, negotiation techniques, retail math, inventory management, and CRM system utilization Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control to align with sales strategies and market demand Support marketing initiatives aimed at increasing retail sales volume through targeted outreach and public speaking engagements Foster a positive team environment focused on achieving sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards Experience Proven experience in automotive dealership sales management or BDC operations with a strong understanding of automotive industry sales processes Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, or retail car sales with a focus on high-end or passenger vehicles Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction Experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM systems (technically supported) such as CRM software or similar tools Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle inventory management, outbound calling campaigns, and client communication seamlessly Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to connect with diverse customer bases Exceptional communication skills—public speaking, phone etiquette, and client relationship building—are essential for success in this role Knowledge of automotive financing options, upselling techniques, and retail math principles is preferred Join us as an Automotive BDC Manager where your leadership will energize our team's performance!
