Andean luxury fibers alpaca and Pima cotton, a sophisticated design and color aesthetic, and global, museum-quality textiles are the inspiration for our products. Peruvian Connection evolved from a catalog company to one of the early online fashion brands and is today the proprietor of four full-line retail locations in the US. As an Omni channel retailer, we are one of the few brands offering original design, artisan-made apparel, with special attention paid to superb fit. Peruvian Connection's roots are with cottage industry artisans in Peru and other South American countries, many of whom have been with us from the beginning, and we continue to support their work. Summary We have a part time evening & Saturday position opening for a Sales and Customer Experience Specialist position in our contact center at the corporate office in Tonganoxie, KS.

Hours:

Sundays 10am to 5pm Monday/Thursdays 2pm to 10pm Could include additional daytime hours if needed for a FT position In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional customer service while promoting our unique collection of knitwear and accessories. Your contributions will help us maintain our reputation for quality and style in the luxury fashion market. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Providing leadership to Contact Center team Providing consultative training to Contact Center Team Taking escalated calls as needed Welcoming customers with a friendly demeanor, offering product information, and assisting them in finding items. Stay informed about new products, features, and promotions, and provide accurate information to customers. Understanding and promoting current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to enhance customer experience and drive sales. Suggest additional products or services that may complement a customer's purchase and increase shopping bag value. Providing accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services). Answering customer inquiries regarding products, store policies, and services, providing knowledgeable and helpful responses to enhance satisfaction. Ability to perform in fast-paced environments Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional and timely manner Record and maintain customer information and interactions in the company database Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns, escalating issues when necessary Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and shipping, to ensure seamless customer experiences Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback on their experiences Process customer payments and troubleshoot billing-related issues We pride ourselves on investing in education and training so that our sales and service associates are familiar with the fibers, colors, textiles and silhouettes presented in each catalog. Requirements:

Communication:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with customers. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Sales:

Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their needs, and recommend appropriate products.

Customer Service:

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude when dealing with customers.

Basic Math:

Ability to calculate costs, totals, and discounts accurately. Problem solving : Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multitask within systems High School Diploma or GED equivalent required Minimum of one year customer service experience. Success Criteria To excel in this role, as a sales associate we expect you to: Meet or exceed individual sales targets and contribute to the team's overall sales performance. Deliver outstanding customer service, as measured by positive customer feedback and a satisfaction rating of 80% or higher. Maintain a consistently high level of product knowledge, actively engaging in training opportunities.
