Salesperson wanted for hard hunting. No leads provided. No territory handed over. No discounts to hide behind. Cold doors, cold calls, and a full price to defend. Rejection daily. Comfort not guaranteed. Uncapped commission, respect, and a book you built yourself — earned by those who can close at full price.
OUR DAILY CRITICAL MISSION
Get the Trash Picked Up. You're the one who finds the next customer who needs us. This Job Is Not for Everyone We will not hand you a lead list. We will not carve you a territory out of someone else's accounts. There is no marketing funnel dropping warm prospects in your lap and no house account to coast on. What you close is what you found. That scares off most salespeople. Good. The ones it doesn't scare off eat very well here. Eagle Transfer Services is a family-owned company with over 47 years of waste and recycling service in Baltimore. Our drivers are the last of the cowboys — out before sunrise in every kind of weather. You're the one out front finding them the next route stop. No one is above the work and no job is beneath anyone. We respect the hustle. You Are Not Selling a Steel Box Anybody can drop a dumpster. Our competitors have metal containers too, and if all you know how to do is quote a price on a can, you will lose to whoever is cheapest that week. You are selling 47 years of showing up. You are selling the driver who gets it done in the rain, the shop that keeps the fleet running, the phone that gets answered by a person, and the promise that the trash gets picked up — every can, every street, every day, no excuses. That's the product. The container is just how it arrives. Sell that, and you never have to compete on price. Which is good, because here, you don't get to. We Sell at Full Price Discounting is not a sales strategy. It's what a salesperson does when they couldn't explain the value. Every dollar you give away comes straight out of the margin that pays the drivers, maintains the trucks, and funds your commission. We hold our price because our service earns it. If you need to cut rate to win business, this is the wrong company. If you can look a buyer in the eye, justify every dollar, and close at full price — we protect the margin, the company wins, and so do you. Hunt. Hand Off. Hunt Again. Your job is to find and close new business — not to babysit it forever. Once a customer is sold and onboarded, you hand them cleanly to our back office, who take care of them for the long haul. Then you go find the next one. Account management is somebody else's seat. Hunting is yours. Protect your calendar for it. The Standard We Hold Source your own pipeline. Generate 100% of your own leads — in person, on the phone, by email, and on social. Knock the door, work the site, call the list, build the network. Know what you're selling. Roll-off containers, hazardous waste removal, front load , commercial dumpsters, permanent and temporary service across the Baltimore area. Contractors, property managers, facility managers, industrial accounts & warehousing. Hold the price. Close at the published rate. Protect the margin. Bring pricing exceptions to management before you promise anything — never after. Transition the win. Deliver a clean handoff to the back office: accurate account details, honest expectations set with the customer, and no surprises for operations. Live in the CRM. Log the activity and the pipeline in our CRM. Hit your numbers. We provide clear procedures and measurables so you know exactly where you stand. Never oversell. Sell what we can actually deliver. Never promise a service level operations can't hit — our reputation took 47 years to build. Work the hours the work requires. Days, evenings as needed, and weekends as needed. Hunting happens when the prospect is available, not when it's convenient. Who We're Looking For Proven outside sales experience with self-sourced business — preferably waste, facility services, construction, or industrial services. Show us a book you built from nothing. A genuine hunter. Comfortable with cold outreach, rejection, and long pursuit cycles. Strong written and verbal communication. Credible with a contractor in a jobsite trailer and with a property manager in an office. Detail oriented is required. We want to meet all the clients expectations so we need the details to do it with. Comfortable in a CRM and with the technology that supports the sales process. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Reliable vehicle for daily prospecting. Self-motivated and disciplined. Nobody here is going to check whether you made your calls — your pipeline will say it for you. What You Get in
