Position Overview We are seeking a high-energy, mission-aligned Business Development Representative (BDR) to accelerate our growth and expand our manufacturing client base. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our outbound sales efforts. You will identify, target, and engage manufacturing prospects who need reliable, high-quality contract packaging, kitting, assembly, and shrink-wrapping services. This is a unique opportunity to use your sales talents for good. Every contract you secure directly supports and expands our nonprofit services, transforming business transactions into community impact. Key Responsibilities
    Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities within the manufacturing, consumer goods, and industrial sectors through cold calls, email campaigns, and networking.
      Consultative Selling:
      Educate prospective clients on our capabilities (kitting, fulfillment, shrink wrapping, secondary paging) and explain how outsourcing to us can reduce their overhead and improve efficiency.
      • Pitch the "Double Bottom Line": Articulate our unique value proposition- delivering top-tier commercial packaging service while helping corporations meet their supplier diversity and corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals.
      Pipeline Management:
      Schedule discovery calls and high-quality meetings for our senior leadership and operations teams, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date CRM.
        Market Research:
        Stay informed on manufacturing trends, supply chain shifts, and regional competitor offerings to identify new market niches. Qualifications
          Education:
          High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required, Associate's degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, or Engineering preferred.
            Experience:
            1-3 years of experience in inside sales, business development, or lead generation. Experience selling B2B services, contracting packaging, fulfillment, or manufacturing solutions is highly preferred.
              Communication Skills:
              Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch to operations managers, procurement officers, and supply chain executives.
                Resilience & Drive:
                A hunter mentality with a proven track record of overcoming objections and meeting or exceeding activity metrics.
                  Mission Alignment:
                  A genuine passion for our nonprofit mission and the ability to authentically connect a prospect's business needs with our social impact.
                    Tech Savvy:
                    Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and standard office software. What we offer
