JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Commercialization Specialist provides critical support to the Sales organization by managing customer-facing processes, supporting commercialization initiatives, coordinating cross-functional activities, and utilizing business systems to drive operational efficiency. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, R D, Finance, Pricing, and customers to ensure timely execution of business activities and resolution of customer issues.
Responsibilities:
Sales Operations Support Maintain proficiency in Magnera business systems including SAP, FIRM, , IBP, Salesforce, and other commercial tools. Support the Sales team by providing timely data, reporting, and customer information required for decision-making. Monitor customer orders throughout the production cycle and provide updates to internal stakeholders and customers as needed. Forecasting & Business Planning Assist the Sales team with forecasting activities, including analyzing order trends, demand changes, and volume requirements using Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools. Prepare reports and summaries that help identify opportunities, risks, and shifts in customer demand. Commercialization & Project Coordination Work closely with Sales, Business Development, R D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, and Pricing to support new business commercialization efforts. Track progress of key projects and commercialization initiatives to ensure customer expectations, timelines, and budget requirements are met. Serve as a liaison between internal teams to facilitate communication, remove obstacles, and resolve issues impacting project success. Sample & Regulatory Management Manage and track sample requests from initiation through fulfillment utilizing Magnera Media Link and related systems. Support customer and internal regulatory request activities as required. Pricing Support Enter and monitor pricing requests while ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding actions using the PQT process and related pricing tools. Collaborate with Pricing, Sales, Product Management, and Finance to implement and track pricing actions. Escalate and resolve delayed pricing actions to support customer responsiveness and commercial objectives.
Qualifications:
Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Experience working with ERP and business intelligence systems, preferably SAP and reporting platforms. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Proven ability to work effectively across multiple business functions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and customer-facing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Preferred Knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. Experience supporting forecasting, pricing, commercialization, or sales operations activities. Familiarity with FIRM, PQT, and other commercial management tools. Experience in manufacturing, nonwovens, engineered materials, or related industries.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Most of the job is performed in an office environment with some time spent on the plant manufacturing floor. Work is performed in an office environment with frequent contact with others. Requires prolonged sitting and frequent bending, stooping and stretching, manual dexterity, the ability to distinguish letters, occasional lifting, and the use of office equipment. The ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
