Job Description

Job Overview Touchstone Infusion is seeking an experienced, motivated Sales Representative to drive referral growth and client acquisition throughout The Woodlands territory, including The Woodlands, Cypress, Kingwood, Humble, Tomball, and Spring. This position is responsible for achieving sales objectives, expanding Touchstone's presence within the assigned territory, and developing strong referral relationships with hospitals, physician practices, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare partners. The Sales Representative must be comfortable working in the field, assisting with patient discharges and referrals, discussing insurance benefits intelligently, and representing the Touchstone brand professionally. The ideal candidate is self-directed, relationship-focused, knowledgeable about healthcare sales, and able to grow a territory with minimal supervision. Compensation $55,000-$65,000 annual base salary 3.5% uncapped commission Full-time, in-person field position Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assume overall responsibility for sales and marketing growth within the assigned territory. Develop and execute a strategic territory plan to increase referrals, therapy volume, and revenue. Build Touchstone's brand recognition through professional presentations, networking, and consistent field presence. Acquire new referral sources and strengthen relationships with existing healthcare partners. Establish and maintain relationships with hospital case managers, discharge planners, physicians, medical practices, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and other referral partners. Provide referral assistance and help coordinate smooth, timely patient discharges. Communicate insurance benefits and patient financial responsibilities clearly and professionally. Determine and evaluate insurance benefits, seeking approval from the Vice President of Sales for nonstandard categories, including Medicare Part D discounts, Medicaid, unfunded patients, and cases without an out-of-network option. Increase therapy volume through strategic call points, with an emphasis on antibiotics, TPN, inotropes, IVIG, and other home-infusion therapies. Maintain working knowledge of home-infusion medications, supplies, and equipment required for each therapy. Demonstrate the proper use of applicable medications, supplies, and equipment to patients when needed and within the position's authorized scope. Coordinate after-hours networking events, educational opportunities, and client-appreciation activities. Track sales activity, referral trends, territory opportunities, and relationship-development efforts. Manage company resources responsibly through prudent evaluation of expenses. Collaborate with intake, pharmacy, nursing, reimbursement, and leadership teams to support patients and referral partners. Participate in team-building initiatives and help maintain Touchstone's culture. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations. Represent Touchstone professionally and ethically during every interaction. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, communications, or a related field preferred. Prior medical, pharmaceutical, home-health, or healthcare sales experience required. Home-infusion or specialty-pharmacy sales experience strongly preferred. Established relationships with hospital case management teams, discharge planners, physician offices, or other referral sources within the territory strongly preferred. Familiarity with home-infusion therapies, including antibiotics, TPN, inotropes, and IVIG. Understanding of healthcare insurance benefits, reimbursement considerations, and patient referral processes. Knowledge of HIPAA requirements and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations. Demonstrated ability to develop referral relationships and grow an assigned sales territory. Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. Ability to communicate complex clinical and insurance information clearly and professionally. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to attend occasional after-hours networking and client events. Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.
