Job Description
Job Summary Point Iron USA is seeking a results-driven Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to actively identify, develop, and manage customer relationships. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive solutions to customers while driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, and increasing profitability. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and manage new business opportunities.
- Prepare and follow up on RFQs, quotations, and contract negotiations.
- Drive account growth and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Develop new OEM accounts in target industries, including:
- Agricultural equipment
- Lawn and garden equipment
- Power generation
- Gearboxes and drives
- Robotics and industrial automation
- Coordinate with engineering teams and the China parent plant regarding:
- RFQs
- PPAP submissions
- Technical drawings
- Tooling requirements
- APQP timelines
- Represent Point Iron USA at industry trade shows, including:
- Automate
- IMTS
- FABTECH
- Conduct customer visits and support business development activities throughout assigned territories.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years B2B sales or business development experience.
- manufacturing or metal components strongly preferred.
- Experience with castings, machining, or foundry products is a major advantage.
- Proven Track record of winning and growing OEM accounts.
- Comfortable managing long and technically complex sales cycles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple RFQs and customer accounts independently.
- Willing to travel (~25-40%) for customer visits and trade shows.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling cast iron, ductile iron, or machined components.
- Existing relationships with OEMs in agricultural equipment, lawn and garden equipment, or power-equipment industries.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and quality systems such as PPAP and APQP. Benefits
