Job Description
Job Summary A growing construction company in Greer, SC is seeking a polished and energetic Sales Support Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This customer-facing administrative support role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and helping prospective buyers take the first steps in the building process. The Sales Support Administrator will serve as a key support partner to the sales team while creating a professional first impression for visitors, callers, and prospective buyers. This is a highly visible position within a stable and established construction environment where teamwork, communication, accuracy, and follow-through are valued. - Welcome visitors, answer incoming calls, and provide a professional first impression for prospective buyers and customers.
- Contact and follow up with warm leads, gather basic customer information, qualify prospective buyers, and schedule appointments for Sales Managers.
- Support customers during the early stages of the building process, including financing steps, plan revisions, selections, and pre-construction preparation.
- Assist Sales Managers with follow-up, documentation, scheduling, customer communication, and day-to-day sales coordination.
- Maintain an organized and attractive design center, including samples, displays, brochures, and customer materials.
- Coordinate information between customers, sales, and production teams to help keep timelines, expectations, and open items on track. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$20.00 to $22.00 per hour.- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
Schedule:
40-hour work week.- Monday through Saturday schedule.
- Three Saturdays per month, with one Saturday off each month.
- Weekday off provided when working Saturday.
- Sundays off. Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 5 years of experience in customer service, administrative support, sales support, coordination, or a similar professional setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a polished, personable, and professional presence.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable speaking with customers, asking qualifying questions, and confidently communicating information.
- Proactive, self-motivated work style with the ability to take ownership and follow through without constant direction.
- Good judgment, adaptability, and the ability to think quickly when priorities or customer needs change.
- Comfortable learning CRM systems, sales software, administrative platforms, and other business technology. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, real estate, interior design, sales, or a design-center environment.
- Prior experience supporting a sales team or working in a customer-facing administrative role.
- Interest in building a long-term career within the residential construction or homebuilding industry.
