A Solar Sales Representative sells solar energy equipment or systems to residential or business customers. Works for a company that manufactures solar systems, or for an independent alternative energy company; may promote long term lease agreements for solar equipment. Analyzes customer electricity usage, evaluates structures and building orientation, and provides information on pay back for solar investments.
Associate's degree or equivalent professional experience is required. Priority will be given to those with current degrees or certifications in business, sales, solar, or a related field.
A NABCEP
certification is preferred.
Experience Requirements :

Technical and Solar Sales Instructor. The qualified candidate must possess subject matter expertise in solar energy systems, technical sales, industry regulations, and financial incentives, including tax credits, rebates, and other renewable energy programs. Responsibilities include following the approved course syllabus, meeting established course objectives, lab instruction, and effectively utilizing Blackboard, PowerPoint, and assessments. The instructor will maintain and update the course curriculum as needed i.e., syllabus, textbooks, PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, etc. The instructor will record student attendance, submit midterm and final grades as required per semester, and complete state mandated training.
