In this position you will help facilitate and manage the shipping and receiving processes with speed and professionalism. The ability to drive and operate a stand up forklift, perform some computer work and lift up to 75 lbs. is essential.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Pull, prepare, and inspect orders for accuracy and load daily orders Perform quality control activities for incoming and outgoing orders Review sales orders for accuracy Compile shipping documents and review for accuracy Prepare freight quotes for outgoing orders Process customer returns by receiving and inspecting materials, processing and compiling the needed paperwork, and turning it into the Stockroom Manager Receive, inspect, and stock incoming material Responsible for completing daily inventory cycle counts Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly on a daily basis
Education, Preparation, and Training:
Requires minimum of High School Diploma or GED Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations including the use of fractions Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Must be able to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment Excellent understanding of all inventory procedures and processes Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to provide clear and professional instruction Requires ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with high levels of urgency or sensitivity
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to work in a warehouse setting with a variable climate Ability to stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motions For immediate consideration, please forward your resume today!
