Job Description

The Washington, DC office seeks a mid-level corporate & securities associate with a minimum of two to three years of experience in a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including public company advisory work, corporate governance and capital markets financings. The ideal candidate will possess experience working on teams managing public company client representations; excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong technical knowledge of the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934; and comparable law firm experience. The associate will join a national practice of securities lawyers who serve as regular outside counsel to more than 100 public company clients across a broad range of industries, from newly public to many S&P 500 companies. Recognized in 2026 as Tier 1 in Corporate Governance by Legal 500 US and Band 2 in Corporate Governance and Securities Regulation Advisory by Chambers USA, the practice offers the opportunity to learn from and work alongside nationally recognized experts on sophisticated public company matters, with the benefits and resources of a leading global law firm. The expected base salary range for this role is $235,000 to $260,000 per year. This range reflects a good-faith estimate of pay at the time of posting; the actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors such as the candidate's qualifications. This position is eligible for additional forms of compensation, which may include annual performance bonuses and discretionary bonuses. Employees in this role are also eligible for benefits offered by the firm, subject to applicable plan terms and conditions, which currently include medical, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; and paid time off.
