Stockroom Administrative Assistant SeaVee Boats Medley, FL Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Referral program Qualifications Administrative experience High school diploma or GED Manufacturing facility experience Warehouse experience Time management Full Job Description Overview We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Stockroom Administrative Assistant to support the daily administrative and inventory functions of our boat manufacturing operation. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing data and documentation, assisting with receiving and issuing materials, and coordinating with the Stockroom, Purchasing, Production, and other departments. The ideal candidate is computer-savvy, organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the Stockroom Supervisor and stockroom team. Enter and maintain accurate inventory information in the company's computer/ERP system. Process receipts, transfers, material issues, inventory adjustments, and other stockroom transactions. Receive and verify parts, materials, supplies, and other items against purchase orders and packing documentation. Prepare and maintain stockroom records, reports, spreadsheets, requisitions, and other documentation. Assist with inventory counts and investigate discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor. Assist with tracking backorders, missing parts, damaged materials, and returns. Maintain accurate part numbers, descriptions, quantities, and storage locations. Communicate with Purchasing, Production, Accounting, and other departments regarding material requirements. Answer emails, phone calls, and internal inquiries related to stockroom materials and inventory. Maintain organized electronic and physical files. Assist with daily stockroom administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by management. Follow all company policies and procedures regarding inventory control, safety, security, and confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in an administrative, stockroom, warehouse, inventory, or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong computer and data-entry skills. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn and work with inventory. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Manufacturing or boat-building experience is a plus. Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing and stockroom environment and may require regular movement between the office, stockroom, and production areas. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, fiberglass particles, fumes, machinery, and other manufacturing conditions. Must have the ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and occasionally lift or move items consistent with the requirements of the position. All required safety procedures and PPE must be followed.
