In this role, you will support the development and execution of strategies withing our Jewelry Division. This role plays a key part in ensuring the successful management of product development across multiple sales channels, helping to drive sales, margin and profitability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion trends, strong analytical skills and experience in wholesale or retail buying / category management. You will work closely with suppliers, internal sales teams and logistics to ensure efficient product flow and compelling assortments that meet customer demand.   • wants to grow, takes initiative and is excited to learn the merchandising and product development business Responsibilities Support the Directory of Category Management and Category Manager in developing seasonal strategies and product assortments that align with business objectives and market trends.
Conduct sales and performance analysis to monitor SKU productivity, category performance and identify opportunities for growth or improvement. Sample Coordination through the receiving, tracking and organizing of samples for line reviews, customer meetings and internal milestones. Stay on top of deadlines and "birddog" sample requests until they are fulfilled. Assist with product planning and the selection of product lines, ensuring alignment with pricing, margin and inventory targets are met. Assist in the management of the timeline calendar for product development, orders and deliveries in collaboration with suppliers and logistics teams. Monitor competitor activity and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation that support sales growth. Support in preparing presentations and reports for internal reviews, trade shows and buyer meetings. Coordinate marketing and promotional activities in collaboration with the marketing team, ensuring category plans are fully supported. Experience Motivated graduate with a Fashion Merchandising degree or related major. 1-3 years related experience Strong awareness & an understanding of fashion trends & consumer behavior. Excellent analytical & numerical skills; proficiency in Excel, Power Point & reporting tools. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities & deadlines. To be successful in this role, you must be a strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Working effectively with colleagues across departments is essential to achieving shared goals and driving company success. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholders and supplier management. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Proven experience in procurement or purchasing management within a retail or supply chain environment.
