Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Part Time Dairy Clerk to join our team during the midday to evening shifts. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the dairy section's organization, stocking products, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment for customers. Your enthusiasm and customer service skills will help create a positive shopping experience while supporting store operations efficiently. Responsibilities Stock dairy products on shelves and display cases, ensuring proper rotation and freshness. Maintain accurate inventory control through regular stock checks and updates. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and manual handling tools safely to load, unload, and move products. Use RF scanners for inventory management and product tracking. Assist customers with product inquiries, providing excellent customer service in a friendly manner. Ensure cleanliness of the dairy section by performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks. Support shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading deliveries efficiently. Skills Experience with warehouse operations, inventory management, and materials handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising dairy products. Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, produce handling, and grocery store experience preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safe lifting practices. Basic math skills for inventory counts and transaction accuracy. Customer service orientation with a positive attitude to enhance shopper satisfaction. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
