Weiss Market is a locally owned specialty meat market looking for a dependable adult to join our afternoon/evening team. This is a great fit for someone looking for a steady part-time position or second job . Our store closes at 7 PM , so most evening shifts are finished around 7:30 PM . We also typically schedule our part-time employees only one weekend day , not both. We're looking for someone who is friendly with customers, dependable, willing to work, and interested in learning different areas of the store. No meat market experience is necessary — we will train the right person.

Typical responsibilities include:

Waiting on customers and providing friendly customer service Filling and maintaining our fresh meat counters Register and general sales-floor duties Stocking and keeping the store clean and organized Helping with deli and salad preparation Closing and cleaning duties Learning additional responsibilities as you become trained

Schedule:

Approximately 20-25 hours per week Primarily afternoon/evening shifts Most closing shifts end around 7:30 PM Typically one weekend day per week Some scheduling flexibility available

Pay:

$15-$16/hour depending on experience, availability and responsibilities. Additional pay opportunities are available as you become trained and take on more responsibility.
