What You'll Do:
Engage with donors, customers, and fellow team members with a positive can-do attitude. Promptly greet donors and unload their vehicles with respect and care. Practice safe behaviors always, including maintaining clear access to emergency exits and equipment. Sort, price, stage, and recycle donations according to policy and guidelines. Keep the donation area neat, clean, and organized. Assist truck drivers and transportation team with loading / unloading stock into company vehicles. Assist team members in other areas of the store as needed to meet store goals (hello BONUS check!) Education, Experience, and Skills that are a must: Must be at least 18 years old. Training will be on-the-job. Ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including a double stacker. Safety Sensitive (SS) position. Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees, and able to read and write legibly. Must be able to work without close supervision. Dependability and honesty are a must! Ability to work 100% of scheduled hours onsite. Must have a positive, can-do attitude and adhere to GICNC's dress code. Tenth-grade education is required. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Must be able to follow instructions and discriminate between specific items. Adhere to GICNC's safety policies, including safely handling heavy objects. Medium lifting (25- 50lbs) is required.
Pay Range & Schedule:
This position is hourly, non-exempt and starts at $13 / hour plus quarterly performance based bonuses. Must be able to adhere to our attendance policy. We're a retail environment with retail hours, which can include nights, weekends, and some holidays. Most of our stores are open Monday- Saturday 10AM
- 8PM and Sunday 1PM
- 6PM, so no late night shifts!
