In this role, you will be the driving force behind creating a welcoming customer experience, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales of premium smoking products and accessories. Duties Engage with customers in-store by providing knowledgeable recommendations on products such as glassware, vape devices, cigars, and accessories Conduct effective sales techniques to upsell additional products, introduce new arrivals, and maximize revenue opportunities Maintain and manage the sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing Develop strong customer relationships by providing personalized service and building repeat clientele Support retail sales efforts by promoting specials, loyalty programs, and new product launches Handle transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash and card payments Ensure compliance with all local and state regulations, including verifying customer age and adhering to tobacco and vape sales laws Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels, restocking shelves, and reporting low inventory Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment at all times Requirements Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in smoke shops, vape shops, or similar environments Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell and confidently recommend products Knowledge of smoking products, vape devices, or willingness to quickly learn Excellent communication and customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude Ability to handle cash transactions and operate POS systems accurately Strong attention to detail in inventory management and store organization Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment Ability to check IDs and ensure compliance with legal age requirements Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Join us as a Smoke Shop Salesperson and become part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing top-tier products and exceptional customer experiences.
