Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Empower students to find their voices by serving as a Speech Language Pathologist in a supportive K-12 school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, contract opportunity starts August 10, 2026, and continues through June 4, 2027, offering stability and the chance to make a meaningful impact every day. Your role will focus solely on direct and indirect speech-language services during contracted hours, without the expectation of additional non-therapeutic duties—allowing you to dedicate your expertise exactly where it's needed most. Travel professionals may also qualify for stipends to further support their assignment.
Ideal candidates will bring:
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) California SLP licensure (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Experience or strong interest in providing SLP services within a school environment, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade Commitment to evidence-based practice, progress monitoring, and individualized education plan (IEP) support Excellent communication and documentation skills Key responsibilities include: Delivering high-quality assessment, intervention, and consultation for K-12 students with diverse communication needs Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement IEP goals Maintaining clear documentation and timely reporting as required Providing both direct therapy and indirect support aligned to students' needs This position features guaranteed weekly hours and competitive support, with no expectation to cover duties beyond your contracted therapy schedule.
