Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist passionate about early childhood intervention. This part-time contract position focuses on providing crucial support to preschool-aged children within the community. With a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week, you'll play a vital role in helping young learners reach developmental milestones by delivering occupational therapy services across multiple preschool sites.
Essential Qualifications:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Pennsylvania Prior experience or a strong interest in school-based OT, especially within early intervention or preschool settings Reliable transportation for itinerant travel to multiple preschools in the area Excellent communication and collaboration skills with families, teachers, and staff Ability to independently manage a rotating caseload Strong organizational skills to document services and progress
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy services to preschool-aged children as an itinerant provider Assess students' fine and gross motor abilities; develop and implement individualized intervention plans Travel to various preschools in the area, adjusting your approach to fit each unique environment and child Collaborate with educators and families to share progress and recommend classroom strategies Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance with school and state requirements Participate in meetings and ongoing communication with the multidisciplinary team You'll thrive in a role that allows you to apply your skills autonomously, making a meaningful difference in the lives of early learners across the region.
