Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact by supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in an enriching school environment. This contract opportunity begins June 22nd and extends through July 3rd, with work hours running from 8:15 AM to 12:15 PM—ideal if you're looking for a short-term, focused role this summer.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California Previous experience in school-based settings is highly preferred Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy interventions Proficiency with evaluations, IEP process, and progress documentation Skilled communicator, able to collaborate with educators and families Compassion, adaptability, and a positive, professional attitude
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct OT services to students, supporting their participation and achievement within school routines Conduct evaluations and create individualized intervention plans Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to facilitate students' success Monitor, document, and report on student progress toward IEP goals Maintain adherence to district, state, and federal guidelines for therapy services
