Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Physical Therapist license required Experience working with school-aged children preferred Background in providing direct therapy, evaluations, and developing individualized educational programs (IEPs) Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Proficient in adapting and tailoring interventions for diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, and deliver physical therapy services to students based on referrals and IEPs Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and required documentation Work closely with educators and families to create supportive learning environments and communicate progress Participate in IEP meetings and assist in developing appropriate goals and accommodations Provide guidance and training to school staff regarding mobility, equipment, and safe practices for students Adapt interventions to support both academic and functional outcomes across school settings Working in this contract role, you'll engage with a supportive network while enjoying the flexibility and excitement of making a difference across different educational settings.
