This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 22, 2027, with the first day for students beginning August 12. You'll work full-time, Monday through Friday, totaling 35 hours each week. Your schedule will primarily center on a middle school, with three days onsite, while the remaining two will be spent supporting a nearby K-2 campus. Bring your expertise to a pivotal support role where your skills conducting observations and evaluations—both initial and re-evaluations—are essential. Expect to manage 30-40 evaluations over the academic year. You'll also play a key part in assisting with behavior intervention plans (BIPs), collaborating closely with special education teams to create effective strategies and supports tailored to student needs.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with school psychologist endorsement in Illinois Demonstrated background in developing and implementing BIPs Strong history of working alongside special education teams Experience conducting a variety of student evaluations Effective communication and teamwork skills
