Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact and advance your career as a School Psychologist in beautiful Vermont. This in-person, contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and support students' academic, social, and emotional wellbeing during the 2026-27 school year.
Key Qualifications:
Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist per Vermont state requirements Experience with psychoeducational assessments and individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families Skilled at interpreting data and translating findings into meaningful recommendations Committed to fostering inclusive, supportive school environments Able to work on site for the duration of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete psychological and academic assessments to guide student support services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention as needed Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and assist in eligibility determination Support students at various grade levels, with specific details discussed during interviews Maintain compliance with legal and ethical guidelines in all professional activities Why consider this opportunity?
