Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into an impactful contract opportunity as a School Psychologist supporting a vibrant educational community for the entire 26/27 academic year. This full-time position is based at a single school site and focuses mainly on preschool evaluations and testing, though involvement may span the entire district as needed. You'll play a crucial role in providing high-quality assessments and working collaboratively to support students' development and learning outcomes in a district near Dixon, CA.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid credential in School Psychology or eligibility for state certification Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments, especially with preschool-aged children Familiarity with best practices in evaluations, interventions, and reporting Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to manage a caseload independently and efficiently Experience with diverse student populations preferredKey Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations Focus primarily on preschool assessments while also serving students district-wide as necessary Prepare, interpret, and present assessment results for eligibility and educational programming Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student growth and learning Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with district and legal standardsBenefits and Perks:
